Bio

Dr. Rosalina "Talín" Ramos was a pioneering Puerto Rican LGBTQ+ activist, best known for founding the Pride Parade in West Puerto Rico (Parada de Orgullo LGBTT del Oeste). Her tireless advocacy for LGBTQ+ rights and visibility made significant strides toward equality and acceptance within Puerto Rican society. In recognition of her impactful work, she received the 2016 Lifetime Achievement Award from the Puerto Rican Pride Parade. Dr. Ramos's legacy continues to inspire and empower the LGBTQ+ community in Puerto Rico and beyond.
