The 2026 National Puerto Rican Day Parade theme: Somos Más Que 100x35


“Somos Más Que 100x35,” is rooted in a phrase that originated from and has long been expressed by the people of Puerto Rico as an enduring declaration of pride that affirms the island’s influence far beyond its geographic size. That collective sentiment was brought to the global stage by Bad Bunny during the 2026 Grammy Awards, where, accepting Album of the Year for DeBÍ TiRAR MáS FOToS, he powerfully affirmed that Puerto Rico is “much bigger than 100 x 35.” His words echoed what our community has always known: that the greatness of Puerto Rico and its people extends far beyond the boundaries of our island. Our immeasurable achievements, influence, and impact are felt worldwide: in music, the performing arts, literature, science, sports, military service, and countless other fields.

 

The vibrant theme graphic by artist Jorge Rafael Calderón now in his third consecutive year creating the NPRDP theme artwork features the island at its heart, surrounded by symbols of that legacy: vejigante masks evoking both our folklore and performing arts tradition, bomba drums representing our musical roots, a satellite dish honoring our contributions to science and exploration, and a writer’s quill celebrating our literary heritage. Together, these elements radiate outward like a compass rose, symbolizing the many directions in which Puerto Ricans have carried their greatness across the world.
