Jorge Ramos is a renowned Mexican-American journalist and author, often referred to as "The Walter Cronkite of Latin America." Born in Mexico City in 1958, Ramos moved to the United States in 1983. He is best known as the anchor for Noticiero Univision, a position he has held since 1986, where he has reported on major global events and interviewed numerous world leaders. Ramos's commitment to journalistic integrity and his advocacy for immigrant rights have earned him multiple accolades, including eight Emmy Awards and the Maria Moors Cabot Prize. His work has significantly influenced Spanish-language journalism in the United States.
