Ismael Cruz Córdova is a Puerto Rican actor renowned for his versatility across television, stage, and film. Born in Aguas Buenas in 1987, he developed a passion for acting early on, participating in local productions and commercials during his youth. He pursued formal training at New York University's Tisch School of the Arts, refining his craft and preparing for a dynamic career. In 2022, Cruz Córdova took on the role of Arondir, an elf, in Amazon Prime's "The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power," marking a significant milestone as the first person of color to portray an elf in the Tolkien universe. His career reflects a commitment to diverse and impactful storytelling, earning him recognition and respect in the entertainment industry.​
